The new services block houses specialistic activities, the emergency room with observation rooms, triage, operating cubicles, radiology and operating clinics, in direct connection with the operating group.
The reorganization of the existing pavilion covers the main hospital entrance (ground floor), with the blood centre, dialysis and pathological anatomy; the hydrotherapy and rehabilitation departments with the kitchens for the whole hospital (basement); Outpatients and Day Hospital (first floor); medical and surgical wards and a limited area for clinics and doctors surgeries (second floor). Gynecology and pediatrics (with an outpatient area) are located on the third floor. Medical wards, transfusion service, clinical chemistry and molecular biology laboratories are located at fourth, fifth and sixth floor. Management offices are situated on seventh floor.
The second floor has 55 beds for surgery patients, while the third floor is strictly dedicated to technological services. The basement houses stores, technical services and centralized changing rooms for the whole hospital, and a sterilization rooms.
